My Actifit Report Card: April 16 2022
Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by! ๐๐๐
My sleeping in on Saturdays still occurs, but Iโm finding I am actually waking up earlier that previous weeks. Maybe itโs because Iโm a little more rested or maybe itโs because of springtime. ๐ค We were scheduled to get the pastorโs head mic and base out of storage and get it hooked up so it works for tomorrowโs service. After a little digging, we unearthed it out of storage and set to work. See @silvertopโs post for some pictures of the sanctuary under deconstruction.
After that was set, we came home. While I worked this week, @silvertop turned on his crypto miners. After a while, they began their squealing which meant theyโd lost Wi-Fi signal. He hit the reset button on both the repeater and the router I had used to make the network work. Unfortunately, that appeared to kill everything. I ordered a new repeater and it arrived yesterday. The plan was to install it today.
This seemed to fix the issue until about 20 minutes into it, just one of the miners began its screaming again. So I quickly went to Amazon to order another router. Since the reset, the router signal disappeared from the available networks, which leads me to believe it might have been part of the problem. Anyway, our setup is a bit unusual so things are cheap enough to replace them.
Mid afternoon we headed out for a hike. Jan came with.
We decided on the trail to the off grid cabin, on to the High Trail, connecting to Bear Hollow. Then it was Slumbering Bear to Elkhorn Loop and on to Towhee Ridge and then head for home. Itโs around a 6+ mile hike. Hereโs some eye ๐ candy ๐ญ for your enjoyment.
Red headed Woodpeckers live in the forest here. This is oneโs handiwork. Kind of reminds me of the cliff dwellerโs homes. It looks like he was working on a condo complex. Whatโs more interesting to me too, is that the tree is not deadwood.
Our youngest and his wife are enjoying some time out at Longbeach, Washington this weekend. I believe this is the North Head Lighthouse. They are enjoying a razor clam dig. Apparently, Longbeach hosts the Razor Clam festival. You can read more at https://longbeachrazorclamfestival.com

I guess thatโs gonna be it for now. Enjoy Easter Sunday tomorrow!โ๏ธ๐ฐ๐ฅ

WOW, that was an adventure, but you do always have the coolest posts and photos @elizabethbit ๐๐ผ
Aw shucks, @jimmy.adames! You are kind! Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you and Tiffany had a lovely Easter Sunday! Take care!
It really does! Haha. It reminds me of The Faraway Tree book series featuring Moon-Face and Mr. Watzisname, written by Enid Blyton, which I used to read as a child. All that it needs is a giant slide running through the middle of the tree trunk, to complete the picture, haha.
I can see that, lol! It's interesting the woodpecker chose a live tree instead of deadwood as they usually do. I'm wondering if he's smart enough to realize the sap from the trees will draw his buggy dinner?
Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Hola @elizabethbit
Me agradaron tus fotografias, sobretodo la del tronco con huecos.
Pero me solprendiรณ que has publicado con 42 etiquetas ยฟCรณmo puedes hacer eso...?
Hi @elizabethbit
I liked your photos, especially the one with the hollow trunk.
But I was surprised that you posted with 42 tags. How can you do that...?
Hi @henrycalu! You can edit your actifit post either on the app on your phone when you create it, or later at actifit.io. There is no limit there.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great evening!
I have never seen four holes one after another in one tree, sis!
Those redhead woodpeckers know what they are doing?
I suppose so... I've never seen the inside of one!
They are interesting. You can hear them in the forest even when they aren't right by you. It sounds like someone knocking on a post. I would think that type of hammering would mess with their brains! (maybe it did!)
Thanks for stopping by sis! Much love!๐ค๐๐๐น
