My Actifit Report Card: February 13 2022
Hey there everybody and thanks for stopping by today! 😁
We are still attending church online for this week. After Pastor Chad’s sermon, we got ready to go shopping. I was out of Irish cream syrup and needed a backup can of Ghirardelli’s Cocoa supreme (the best cocoa there is!). So we went to what I will always call Cash & Carry ( it has another name now) to get my coffee supplies. I needed cups and lids as well.
Once done there, we headed to Winco, a grocery with better than average prices. It’s been at least 2 months since we’ve been there. This is the store with bulk foods and spices so I needed to stock up. When we were finished there, it was off to Walmart. I have to say that as the years have gone buy, their prices have gone up just like everybody else’s. However one reason we keep going, is to compare prices and purchase what’s cheaper, is that as a previous associate, I was employed long enough to earn a lifetime associate’s 10% discount. It pays the tax if nothing else!
We headed for home. We didn’t get out for a hike but plan one of our normal hikes for tomorrow. I’ve also got to roast coffee for us and a customer. Now……for some eye candy from yesterday’s hike.
I once heard a guy from another community say that only ‘pillowed’ edged trees were back east.
Can you say wrong?
This is the underbelly side of that beautifully colorful fungus from yesterday.
I’m looking forward to a little dinner and TV time here in a bit. Tomorrow is another day.
Oh-I almost forgot to mention that today is our youngest son and daughter-in-law’s wedding anniversary! It was a special day!❤️

Hey @silversaver888! They are pillowed meaning not just round. They weave in and out kind of like a petal on a flower. Maybe petal might be a better term, but pillow is what I've always known them by.🤗😘💖🌸

Hey @queenstarr! Thank you for asking; I'm doing well. I get seriously stiff after a hike like the one we did on Saturday, and it can be a bit of a pain, but I get by. Stress.....better when I don't heap it on myself (I'm my own worst enemy at times, lol). Overall, I'm pretty good!
