My Actifit Report Card: January 15 2022
Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by today!
The forecast for the day originally said partly sunny today. When we got up, we were socked in! Lots of fog! Before heading out to hike, we headed to the post office to pick up an Amazon delivery. The much awaited second set of Wi-Fi smart plugs was awaiting in a parcel locker and @silvertop wanted them. Two of the four pack were destined for his crypto miners. The other two are as yet to be determined. They are really nice as you can turn them on/off with a phone app and you can set them up as a timer as well. Makes it kind of nice. Plus you can turn the on/off when you’re not home! Very cool.
At 1:45, we met Jan and set out. It was seriously foggy and we were hoping the further up we went, the likelihood we’d rise above the fog. Here’s some pics I took along the way.
We made it above the fog! As we hiked, we’d go in and out of it, but alas all good things must end. The sun did eventually disappear.
@actifit-lamb and her brother Winchester and sister Winnevieve came along on the hike. They got out of their backpack to romp for a bit up at Towhee Ridge.
This was the view they were gazing at.
They enjoyed their time outside today. 🐑
Our son and his wife went to an ice fishing derby to participate. They didn’t win, but they got a new experience and won one of the raffles. Here he is holding one of the rainbow trout he caught. Phoenix looks cold!🥶
They had a good time, and are now snuggled on a ranch with cabins for rent.
Tomorrow brings church and they have closed the service to online only due to Covid outbreaks in the church body. I prefer in person but it is what it is for now.
