THE ARC RIVALS.
Hello all in @sportstalksocial , i am @edwincj and i am new in this community and also in hive. I hope that I will make new friends and enjoy this wonderful community, and i hope i am welcomed in this wonderful community. I am also a fan of sports especially football, which is one of my hobbies.
I am also here to write on the contest which says "Your favorite sporting moment". Mine was at a football match, it was so fun and enjoying that we even forgot that we went for a match. I missed that day so much, that is why it is my favorite sporting moment. Let me give you guys the details if what happened.
The coach of " ASOLO Academy", (that is the Academy that i play for) told us on Monday that we should start preparing for a match with MAITALA Academy.
We were so anxious and so, we trained hard in other to participate in that match, because we are arc rivals, so we trained hardly just to fit in. We trained from Monday till on Thursday.
On Friday, we plan to meet at our training spot around 1pm, and we were there by that time.
From there we went to the field we were going to play the football, since we were playing away game.
When we got there, we started to exercice our body before the match started.
Before the match started, our coach told us that we were going to play a defensive game in order to win. So the line up was 4-3-2-1.
I was supposed to play number 10, but condition made me play position 7, not withstanding i made up my mind to play my best that day.
The referee blew the whistles pppiiiii. The match started.
Before we knew it, the opposing side gave an attempt, we were all active and worried, from there we got a goal kick. We started from our house holding the ball, we moved to the centre of the field.
Then the guy holding the ball gave me a long pass, and as the winger, I held the ball and began to run and dribble with the ball, till we were at their 18, then i gave a crossing to the guy playing number 10.
The guy playing number 10 threw a barley and hit the ball, and suddenly the ball entered the net, Gooooooaaaaaal, the whole crowd was shouting. After that we entered half time.
Half time started and within 10-15 minute, the guy playing number 9 for the opposing club gave an upthrough pass to his member playing 7 dooooom, the guy playing 11 shot the ball into the net, we were all scared and worried.
We made substitutions, and then we were good to go, we continued the ball and the guy playing number 10 in my club told me that anytime he is with the ball and looks at me, I should run fast facing the post, then he would lift the ball to me, before we knew it he was with the ball.

As he told me, I ran fast then he lifted the ball to my leg. I tried my best to catch the ball, when I caught the ball, I shot the ball towards the last angle of the net. But it wasn't a goal, it went out nearly entering the net.

Pppiiiiiii, the referee blew for end of the match, my coach was somehow happy because they weren't able to score us, but my coach told me that next time i should play that ball with litle little stress so that it would enter.
We were all happy, and it was my best moment in sport ever, till I meet another one.
Thanks, wishing you all a great week.
