Mi reporte de Actifict: agosto 19 2023/ My Actifit report card: August 19 2023

English Version
Sometimes one thinks that life is a literary fact, especially when you want to tell something that happened to you. The truth is that reality and fiction intersect and tangle and sometimes form a whole.
I say this because today my wife and I were walking and we met a man who was begging for money from passersby. My wife, who is very observant, told me that this person had a serious health problem. So I turned to look, and his walk was slow and painful.
For the rest of the journey I tried to imagine what this poor man's life would be like. How would his house be and in what condition?
Does this man have family? What was his occupation? So I imagined him coming to a house in ruins, with a bed and some supplies. The dirty walls and a bathroom in bad condition. I stayed thinking about that poor man, who was asking for help, and about the misfortune that many abandoned older people live, who walk the streets looking for a way to survive, or in the worst case, to die.
A few days ago a 65-year-old man jumped off a bridge near where I live. I don't want to investigate that story, because it is full of sadness and forgetfulness.
Today was supposed to be a happy day, and to a certain extent it was, but thinking about those two stories made me reflect on how much I have to take care of mine, because they have lived and fought, and they are still fighting against the misery to which we are subjected.
