English Version

Excitement was palpable in the air as I arranged my backpack. Each item seemed to come to life, anticipating the adventure that awaited us. Friday dawned with the sun bathing my room, inviting me to get out and face the road.

The Barquisimeto bus terminal was bustling with activity, but my mind was only focused on the destination: Mr. Onofre's house. The bus ride was a mixture of nervousness and anticipation. I watched the landscape transform as we drove away from the city, each curve of the road revealing new shades of green.

Upon arriving at Mr. Onofre's house, we were greeted with a warm smile and a steaming cup of coffee. The rustic kitchen, full of homemade aromas, transported me to a world where time seemed to pass at a different pace. Surrounded by mountains and with a garden that invited relaxation, the house became our refuge during the adventure. That night, under a starry sky, we shared stories and laughter with my traveling companions, Mr. Onofre and his wife. After listening and sharing anecdotes about the different experiences of mountaineers, sharing jokes, we decided to go to sleep for the next day to continue our excursion.

Every kilometer traveled that day was a personal victory. The feeling of freedom and connection with nature was indescribable. The fresh mountain air filled my lungs as I inhaled the scent of pine resin. Arriving at our makeshift campsite, the fatigue faded away in the face of the beautiful scenery. The setting sun tinged the sky with vibrant colors, painting a picture I will never forget. Snuggled in my sleeping bag, under a blanket of stars, I reflected on the day. I had challenged my limits, met incredible people, and connected with nature in a profound way. I knew this experience would mark my life forever.
