La competición mas prestigiosa de Europa no deja de sorprender y era de esperarse con los encuentros de los 4tos de final que prometían muchísimo desde el momento que se dieron a conocer, ya en la primera etapa de esta fase vivimos un partido con mucha intensidad por diferentes situaciones vividas en el, una de las cosas que nos demostraba era que nada se debe dar por terminado y que la perseverancia da sus frutos, sin embargo esta historia que hoy les traigo del encuentro disputado el día de ayer entre el Atlético de Madrid y el Manchester City se conto un poco diferente, partido el cual una vez mas eran muchas las especulaciones de posibles resultados y dominio que podía tener uno de estos clubes sobre el otro, basados en sus diferentes actualidades en sus respectivas ligas locales ligas locales. Quizás no fue el mas movido mirándolo desde el marcador, pero si se pudo evidenciar muchos aspectos interesantes que son merecedores de análisis y que mejor espacio para hacerlo que aquí en la plataforma de Hive junto a todos los apasionados amigos y amigas de este lindo deporte en la comunidad de @fulldeportes, así que acompáñenme averiguar lo ocurrido desde mi humilde perspectiva.

El equipo ingles Manchester City es uno de los mas a sido favoritos a quedarse con la Champions League en distintas ediciones, siempre muestra total contundencia y suele avanzar a instancias finales, sin embargo también es muy cierto que detrás de esa supremacía existe un club que en los partidos que suele ser superior es cuando tienden a tambalear y dejar en duda si de verdad se le debe colocar esa estrella de favorito a disputar la gran final y hacerse con esta, lo ocurrido el día de ayer nos muestra una vez mas que las estadísticas dan mucho para hablar y debatir, pero que solo dentro del campo se ve la verdadera realidad de los equipos. En el partido de Ida vimos dos planteamientos muy distintos, un Manchester City haciendo lo que mejor hace que es la creación de juego, buen desempeño de balón acompañado de contundencia ofensiva, todo esto a sido determinante para lograr estar donde están en su liga local, por su lado el equipo español Atlético de Madrid planteando un posicionamiento defensivo con una amplia línea defensiva conformada por muchos de sus jugadores cuyo papel se centra en el atacar y es valido el hacerlo, pero siempre y cuando se tenga la manera de como contrarrestar una obvia presión por parte del equipo rival las cuales estas pueden ser mas o menos difíciles de soportar dependiendo el poderío de dichos rivales. Este partido concluiría con una corta diferencia a favor del equipo ingles de 1-0, que aunque sea una derrota pienso que los de Simeone salieron también beneficiados por decirlo así de no llegar a la vuelta con un marcador difícil de remontar, creo que este pudo ser la idea del DT Argentino, tratar de conservar un empate como visitantes para luego solucionar las cosas en casa donde se hacen sentir gracias a su apasionada afición.

Esta nueva etapa de 4tos de final nos traía sorpresas, daba inicio el partido de vuelta con un Atlético que intercalaba mucho su posicionamiento, por momento parecía ir a por todo, pero rápidamente agrupaba mucha gente en su propia zona, esto pintaba para que fuera mas de lo mismo por parte del equipo español, pero la verdadera sorpresa fue lo inseguro y el flojo nivel que mostraba el City, no parecían para nada ese equipo de Premier League que le pasa a cualquiera por encima, el atlético con su poca ofensiva en los primeros minutos logro filtrar muchas jugadas de peligro que lamentablemente no finalizaban tirando al arco, fue aquí cuando el equipo de Simeone se dio cuenta que si apretaba las salidas podría conseguir lo que tanto deseaba que era el gol de empate.

Mis impresiones sobre el mal funcionamiento en ese partido del equipo ingles creo que se origina en el cansancio después de venir de disputar un duro encuentro en Premier League ante el Liverpool que era decisiva e importante una victoria que termino en empate dejando la tabla de la liga inglesa sin ningún tipo de cambios y una segunda posible seria dejar en el banco a un jugador como sterling que es tan desequilibrante.
