Paul Pogba was on the verge of going to PSG
Paul Pogba was hoping to be signed on by Real Madrid last summer because it was coach Zinedine Zidane's heart desires to have him come over.
As a world class star, Pogba had other club sides nursing their interests in signing him on.
Mino Raiola who is Pogba's agent was on the verge of taking Pogba to PSG to play with his international team-mate Kylian Mbappe.
Though it did not materialise, Raiola had midfielder Marco Verratti's deal renewed at PSG with the expiration date at 2024. He also had Romelu Lukaku signed on by Inter Milan and Matthijs de Ligt by Juventus.

The French international has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford during the last summer transfer window because he openly confessed that he is open for a new challenge in his career.
Yes he did but for one reason or the other, it never came to fruition.
But I think that this time around, Old Trafford will loose him to Real Madrid come January.
Juventus and Real Madrid were keen on signing Pogba but both clubs could not meet up with Man United’s valuation of £150 million for the midfielder. He was considered to be too expensive.
Well it's unfortunate because Pogba is a world class player and that amount is not too much for him.
I do agree with you though he's currently being plagued by injuries, he shall rise again.
I think it was Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola’s busy schedule on the final day of the transfer window that was the main reason that his client’s deal was not pulled off in time.
Yes so it was reported.
No that was actually what happened. Is he really a serious type of guy?
That's much laxity on his part, I hope Pogba replaces him with another.
I remember how Juventus plucked Paul Pogba from Man United when he was struggling to break into the first team. But the tables turned and he went on to become one of the most coveted and celebrated players in world football. Yes Real Madrid could have him.
Juve always have an eye for the best even when others are yet to discover their hidden talents.
Yes and I won't be surprised if they entirely turn Chong into another Paul Pogba.
Which I know they will if they are lucky enough to sign him.
Juventus was Pogba's birthing ground so it could be for Chong.
I hope he won't be overshadowed by the likes of Ronaldo because he's yet a young player.
The sky is wide enough for every bird to fly.
