Negative shopping trip
Among other things, this Sunday I went to the city center of Utrecht on my bike. Nice views, but I wasn't having fun. The half of the shops that were open were busy. When they're all open on Saturday, the streets are really full.
I was actually returning two sweaters I bought during the previous weekend. They were a hideous mint green and purple and didn't fit either. Sometimes I panic buy stuff when it's busy and I don't know what to choose.
I can't go shopping on a weekday anymore, because I need to be available for urgent jobs, which is the only thing that still pays decent rates for a translator.
Last Friday I cycled to another town for a Covid booster shot, which I didn't report here, but it was also above 12k steps. My route went through Utrecht Science Park De Uithof, seen from a distance here:

Are they still giving out booster shots for COVID? Good to hear you are protected now.
It's meant for older and chronically ill people, but they don't check. I think I'm vulnerable for medical reasons, and I can't afford to get long Covid, which is still a current threat.
Stay safe man.
