Another day in the bags! Wish I got a couple more steps but there's always tomorrow!
Probably most noticeable for the day was a piece of 1-in solid brass round (half hard) x 12 ft. Long!
Some 4 ft by 10-ft sheets came in of perforated metal! 18 gauge mild steel I believe.
Starting to build my perforated metal collection!
There's just so many sizesof sheets and hole sizes and transparency sizes. The beautiful thing about peripherated metal. If you rotate two sheets together, they crate a flower of life pattern. I'm hoping one day in life to make some cool art out of perforated metal! But for now it helps to stack a couple sheets.
Last but not least, some 4-in outside diameter by 1/16" wall steel round tube!

How is perforated metal sheets used? Like what is their purpose in construction?
In a construction sense, I usually see this as a protective barrier between moving parts, sometimes to protect or shroud moving belts or fan blades. Sometimes used to divide a space but not its airflow or light flow.
In an architectural sense, see this in modern contemporary designs.
Sometimes used as a front grill of a vehicle.
