Busy Day and those pesky tariffs! My Actifit Report Card: March 12 2025

Not quite the right night to do the unboxing of what's inside the box in the main photo here!

As I said in the title, it was a busy day! Canada and the United States are in the trade war and I'm not too happy about paying more for American Steel! We get a lot of our precision round tubes from the United States. Got the call about 3:00 this afternoon from one of our suppliers on a material I ordered out of the United States yesterday! Informed me it would now be 25% more today!

Fortunately I was able to cancel the order, I didn't really need the material, I'll probably still buy it in a couple weeks. I'll probably still buy it in a couple weeks. I just didn't have an immediate use for it!
More of a want when you like to collect metals. Strategically!

Other than that it was mostly sheet metal today! Got a huge amount of sheets coming in tomorrow.

Here's a photo of some 4x8 1/4-in thick steel checker plates!

And some 4x8 14 gauge hot rolled steel plates!

Found a guy just out of town with some fat stacks of stainless steel sheets! Might have to go and make them an offer on the weekend.
