You have to admit that not everything was fair in this photo beauty contest if you are honest with yourself.
The duck, freshly styled by the hairdresser and with new make-up, stands on the catwalk and waits for the audience to applaud.
Meanwhile, Pepper Girl is hard at work behind the scenes to make sure the flamboyant duck is presented in the best possible light.
She is soaked to the skin. Then she stands in front of the camera to compete?
It all smacks of a lousy style of journalism.
