The Super Eagles coach has lashed out on the media space in Nigeria for statements credited to him about the Super Eagles and the players.

The coach, through the official social media account of the Super Eagles, debunked some stories, which he said is capable of destroying the peace and unity that exists in the team and the football federation generally.

The Nigerian media had earlier said Rohr told the Nigerian Football Federation to get back on their plans to woo Eberechi Eze; instead, Ovie Ejaria is a better option.

He debunked the report that claimed he described Ovie Ejaria as a better player than Ebere Eze and suggested the NFF should not consider the Queen Park Rangers.

He vehemently said the statement is false and is an insult to both players. He said he never compares players and has never asked the NFF to approach any player.

He further warned the media to exercise restraints in press statements quoting him. He says he shares a good relationship with the media in Nigeria, and this should not be abused.
