ATLETICO MADRID STAR CLAIMS MESSI IS THE WORLD BEST

Lionel Messi again raised the bar high against their La Liga counterpart Atletico Madrid. The Argentine talisman scored the only goal for the Barcelona side in the 86th minute, and this action moved Saul Niguez to claim that Messi is the best player in the world.

Messi is set to break another record and clinching the Ballon d'Or award as reports say he would rank ahead of Liverpool's Van Dijk and Juventus Christiano Ronaldo in voting. Messi's performance at Wanda Metropolitano convinces his fans that he would go ahead to win his sixth BDO award later tonight.

Saul said Messi made a difference in the match even though Marc-Andre Ter Stegan made good saves. He expressed his frustration at their humiliating defeat because they put in their best in the game.
Then again, he reiterates that Messi has shown the world why he is the best.
