Friendsgiving Potluck -- Actifit Report Card: November 9, 2024

The clock struck midnight on Saturday, and the dubstep show was just getting started. Capochino opened, Sharlitz Web played second, and Alleycvt played 90 minutes to close out her "Feel It" Tour.

It was one of the better shows we saw at Manhattan's Webster Hall in 2024. The DJs had the crowd dancing from start to finish. We even caught up with Alleycvt after the show, and she signed our 1st edition scarf.

We also saw more fabulous NYC subway mosaic tile art on our way home to Brooklyn. There seems to be something cool around every corner. I already had nearly 10K steps by the time I got to bed at 7am.

But no rest for the weary... I was up at 10am for all the English Premier League action. The games went well into the afternoon, with the last game between Aston Villa and Liverpool finishing around 5pm.

Once the soccer ended, we started getting ready for our friendsgiving at our friend's place in a nearby Brooklyn neighborhood, Park Slope. We brought a pickled beet salad and salted brussel sprouts. The salad was the start of the meal, tbh.

We finished the day with an Uber over to Silo, another Brooklyn club near Elsewhere and The Brooklyn Mirage, to see US drum n bass DJ, Repaer. But he wouldn't take the stage until 1am, so instead, I'll leave you with these impactful words we saw scribbled on the wall near EDM venue. Definitely giving me 1939 vibes... Yikes!
