My Actifit Report Card: December 30 2024

Happy Monday Actifiters!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
I enjoyed some time off from work, and some great family time. It was really nice to reconnect with my family after working so many days straight in December. Between all the extra work and the holidays though, my activity routine has definitely been disrupted.

I'm back at work today, and it was a pretty normal Monday. My usual weekly reports along with month end reporting. And a little bit to catch up on from my couple days off and the holiday. The weather was pretty good though, so I took a afternoon lunch break to get walking.

It sure turned out to be a lot colder than I originally expected when I stepped outside. But, I could see a little bit of blue sky and it was certainly worth getting out and getting some extra steps in. The nice cool weather also was a boost in addition to the activity for my energy and focus.

This week is going to be a bit of an odd week with the New Year's holiday right in the middle. I am hoping though that on the days I work I can take my lunch and be active outside. Hopefully the weather will hold. And I can get back into more of an activity routine. I know I need to get in better shape. For my own sake and I want to be able to keep up with my kids as they keep growing up 🙂

Even though it was cold and cloudy, the cloud formations were really pretty, it almost looks a little otherworldly.
