My Actifit Report Card: May 12 2024

Hey Actifiters!

Yesterday was such a busy and exhausting day, that I trust didn't quite have the energy at the end of the day to make a post.

Sasha had been wanting brisket for a while, so I smoked one for mother's Day. It's certainly one of the family favorite things to eat. I enjoy making it, but it's a lot of work and takes a lot of time. It was well worth it though 🙂

The afternoon was full of time with the kids, chores and some yard work and gardening. Sasha made some hanging baskets, so I had to figure out a way to support the hooks for those, because the poles weren't strong enough in and of themselves. An extra fence post though to support it seems to work.

And, it may not look like much, but I cleared out a little spot in one of our raised beds and planted some peas. I have really fond memories of growing peas with my dad and brother when I was a kid. So I'm hoping that they do well for me and my kids this year 🙂
