Hazard and Recurrent Injuries

Real Madrid announced the nature of the injury suffered by its Belgian player, Eden Hazard, today, Wednesday, during the team's training.

And Hazard withdrew and did not complete the training session, and underwent more medical examinations, to find out the cause of the pain he was feeling.

The royal club said about that, in an official statement: "After the tests conducted today for our player, Eden Hazard, by the club's medical services, he was diagnosed with an anterior rectal muscle injury to the left thigh ... and awaiting any new developments regarding his condition."

According to the Catalan newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", the period of absence of Hazard from the matches, ranges between 4 and 6 weeks.

And thus he will miss, at least, the first-leg match of the Champions League final against Atalanta, scheduled for February 24 in Italy.
