Well hello faties, don't knowwhat else to call them and thats just the first term that comes to mind. It is a bit strange to see the stem being the same size or even slightly bigger than the "cap/hat" of the mushrooms, I have no idea what that is happening, but they do look good and apetising.

Yes they are "very" edible, and "very" meaty. :)) Check online the price for "porcini mushrooms", you'll be amazed.

Holy cow! I saw one ad for over $1000 for 50 pounds and another for $80, but they didn't say what volume for the $80 price! My goodness, you should sell those!

There are loads of people in the area who do just that, search for mushrooms in the woods and then sell them on the side of the road or in local markets. These are the most expensive kind.
