A couple more paintings from the same artist, these two show traditional old houses in early autumn. Although both houses are built in the old ways, one of them has the roof replaced with galvanized sheet metal instead of tiles or wooden shingles. At some point, especially during the 90s, covering houses with galvanized sheet metal was very common.

The galvanized sheet is nice as well, most places still used it in their building roof, the daily activities is superb, good painting with a lot of things to learn, have a good time 🥰🙏

Metal roofing is also very common in the northwest with all of our rain. Very durable, and up here it gives it a mountain home type look.😊

Very nice! In snow country, most roofs are metal roofs because the snow won't stick and create load issues for the roof structures.
