Carrot field & Actifit February 12 2024
That's an entire field of unpicked carrots, someone went through all the trouble to work that land, plant the carrots but never got to "collect", no idea why. Maybe the price of carrots got so low that it's not worth the time and cost of the work required to pick, select, clean, and then try to sell them... Anyway, Max looks really tired, and no, he didn't try to pick any carrots, he got tired from just running around in that field.

I did not try them myself, I said I would today, but its been raining all day today. I think they are still edible because after I got home I saw in one of the photos that some of them looked freshly eaten by either rodents or some sheep that passed by. I'll have a closer look when it gets dry again, just out of curiosity.

I've seen online people selling carrots for 10-15 cents per pound, really cheap to be worth all the work.
