An autumn day with challenges - My Actifit Report Card: November 13 2023
Hello everyone
As with the autumn season, getting up in the morning is not my favorite home activity, sometimes it would be nice to spend some time lazing around.
But with a family as large as mine, i.e. 4 children, it is impossible not to start the day at 5.30, preparing clothes for the youngest, especially for Alex, for whom the transport arrives at 6.15 to take him to school, which is located on the other side of the street. cities. And thanks to our son's disability certificate, we have transportation from the city, which we do not pay for.
After Alex, it's the turn of the youngest, Wiktor, who needs to be dropped off at kindergarten, while at the same time we take the older children to school. But unfortunately today only Saruna because the oldest son injured his shoulder so he stays at home.
After dropping off the children, for a moment of rest, take a short walk in the park, which is next to the kindergarten where my wife now works. More specifically, he has internships due to his studies. To help with children with disabilities who, like our son, need an individual approach and care.
Now it was time to clean the house after the weekend, when the children were left alone with their mother, because I was on 24-hour duty. When I finished cleaning, it was time to prepare dinner, after which I had to get ready to pick up the children, specifically my youngest son from kindergarten.
Due to the fact that my baby has a long way to work, she drives a car lately, and I go everywhere on foot, and that's how I picked up my son from kindergarten, on the way my daughter called to say she was coming back too, so we went back home together, having fun all the time. way.
After returning, my second son was brought to me after school. The transport returns between 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., so I have to be home at those times. And since my wife has a second job today, the children are only with their father today.
After dinner together, it's time to do homework. And at this point, this is the biggest challenge for me throughout the day. However, first-grade tasks are not a problem, because sometimes you only need to explain the task to Alex so that he can understand it.
Helping older children is another thing, remembering something you did last time in primary school is, unfortunately, a huge challenge for me. Of course, the search engine helps me more than once to remind myself and, most importantly, to convey it to my children so that they understand it and know how to deal with it in the future.
After an ordeal of knowledge. There comes time to spend time having fun or watching your favorite cartoon or animated series, sometimes even a movie.
Now all we have to do is read at bedtime. But in this case, older children take turns reading to younger children. By combining business with pleasure, some of them learn to learn new words they hear, and others improve their reading technique. So only advantages, and I only help if a word is too difficult or they don't know it.
In the end, all I have to do is wait for my wife, they are already asleep. But I will leave what I do with my wife only to myself.
