Golf Club Rules I found after searching! LACC
On Friday I was watching some golf. it was the US Open Friday. Here is the venues rules for the members I found online and I found it very interesting.
If you have followed me for long you know ever summer I try to golf a few times. I love it but I really am no good. I’m trying to take it to the next level one of these year I’m not so busy……. Haha.
Any here is what I saw.

Los Angeles Country Club Rules:
No shorts while playing golf (tailored pants only)
Men must wear a sport coat in the clubhouse after 6 pm
No changing shoes in the parking lot
No clogs or flip-flops
No headphones or earbuds
No athletic clothes or apparel with slogans
No photos or videos of the club on social media
Members are responsible for all charges their guests incur
No cash is used on the property outside of paying the caddies (no tipping)
And perhaps the strictest rule of all the LACC members and visitors can only make phone calls from either A) their parked car or B) an enclosed phone booth in the locker room.
I would not be fitting in at that club. I’m a free spirited golfer. I break all the rules at my local golf course I’m sure. Still love the game though and actually don’t mind watching it no matter how boring people think it is.
There’s several courses I’ve played here in Jersey that have similar rules. I played one with the husband of a job I did, no cell phones allowed at all. You have to leave them in your vehicle.
Crazy to me. I had no idea.
