My Actifit Report Card: June 5 2023 - Walking in Parking Lot / 駐車場散歩

I’ve been avoiding taking a walk on my work side of town because it’s very close to nature. I’ve seen many wild animals around. I don’t mind seeing dears and moose from the distance but I do not wish to bump into bears or coyotes.
However, I have some time to kill due to the ferry running late all the time, especially during the summer months. Obvious time management issues are there but the service doesn’t seem to address the problem.
So, I gotta kill my time by taking my daily walk! I will be taking a walk after arriving city where I live anyways. So, I usually end up arriving home at the same time.
But what about the wild animals?
I know…I’m very much scared of bumping into them. So, my sad solution is to walk around in the parking lot 🤣 I must look very suspicious. I’m almost thinking of waving at the security cameras, but I haven’t. I don’t want to get in trouble.
But...what about animals…They are everywhere.
I found this sign at the entrance of the parking lot today.
Hmmm….

勤め先側は自然が多すぎるので散歩をするのを避けていました。時々見かけるんですよ。クマとかを…遠くからシカやヘラジカが見えるのはいいですが、クマやコヨーテに出くわすのはちょっと。。。
けれど特に夏場はフェリーがほぼ毎日遅れるので待っている時間を座ってつぶすのはもったいないのです。明らかにフェリー運行会社の時間管理の問題なのですが、いつまで経っても問題に対処する様子がありません。
なのでやっぱり散歩です
でもクマはコワイ。。。ということで、私の悲しい解決策は駐車場を歩き回ること🤣
怪しい人に見えると思います。ぐるぐる何周も…防犯カメラに手を振ってみようかとも思いましたがまだしてません、笑　
でも...動物ってどこにでも出るんですね。
今日は駐車場の入り口にこんな看板がありました。
ふむふむ...。

ここにも出るんかいっ！
思わず声に出してしまいました。

Anyways, I think I’m still going to take a walk in the parking lot. There are at least many people who I can get help from.

とにかく、やっぱり駐車場散歩はしばらく続けます。周りに車や人もいるので森の中を歩くよりいいでしょう。それよりフェリーが遅れるのをなんとかして欲しいですね。

I’ll share some photos of inside the ferry as well. I took these before getting busy with passengers. It was very busy today. No wonder the ferry was so late.
