Poco mas de 50 días después, AC Milan ha vuelto a la accion, posterior a una temporada turbulenta y un inicio de mercado bastante polémico con los despidos de Paolo Maldini y Ricky Massara en la directiva, y con la dolorosa venta de Sandro Tonali al Newcastle, los Rossoneros han comenzado de forma oficial la temporada 2023-2024. Si bien el conjunto dirigido por Pioli ya había jugado algunos amistosos antes del duelo ante el Madrid en USA, no seria hasta el dia de ayer que comenzaría ese "hype" cargado de expectativas que, a priori eran bajas viendo como había comenzado el mercado del Milan vendiendo a un símbolo como Tonali, pero que con el pasar de los días, nombres como Okafor, Pulisic, y demás generarían cierto entusiasmo en los hinchas rossoneros, incluida mi persona.

El día de ayer los dos equipos mas ganadores de la Champions se enfrentaban en el mítico Rose Bowl de Pasadena, estadio que albergo la final del mundial del 94 donde Brasil se coronaria campeón del mundo y donde Baggio emitiría una imagen mítica mirando al suelo desconsolado tras fallar su penal.

UN VERANO MOVIDO PARA AMBOS - A BUSY SUMMER FOR BOTH OF US

Hablar del AC Milan y del Real Madrid es hablar de historia; al ser los dos clubes con mas champions en su haber, las expectativas sobre ambos equipos siempre son altas.

La pasada campaña, se esperaba ambos equipos se enfrentaran en la final de Estambul, sin embargo Inter y Manchester City se entrometieron en el camino y terminaron privando al mundo del futbol de ver esa final. Luego de esas derrotas dolorosas, ambas directivas sabían que debían reforzarse mejor para la próxima campaña, si querían competir de mejor forma en el ámbito europeo -y local también-.

Por el lado del Madrid, la salida de Benzema demandaba fichajes de renombre, sobre todo en el ataque. Joselu, por lo menos hasta ahora, ha sido el fichaje que, nominal y posicionalmente, ha llegado para reeemplazar al frances. Repatriaron a Brahim Diaz, Fran Garcia. Y Ficharon a Jude Bellingham y Arda Guler. Como se ha hecho costumbre, mercado gtras mercado, el tema Mbappe siempre existe, y las posibilidades de que pueda llegar a Chamartin son muy altas.

Del lado del Milan, como ya mecione mas arriba, la venta de Tonali genero malestar, sin embargo los 70 millones de euros recaudados por la venta del mediocampista ya estan siendo invertidos a priori, de buena forma: Pulisic, Loftus Cheek, Luka Romero, Noah Okafor, Marco Sportiello, y proximamente si todo sale bien, Samuel Chukwueze quien, admito, es una gran debilidad mia.

Aun queda mucho mercado, habran mas llegadas y mas salidas, pero hasta ahora ambos equipos considero se han reforzado y realizado cierto upgrade en su plantilla, si el Madrid concreta la llegada de Mbappe seria la cereza del pastel...

UN AMISTOSO POCO AMISTOSO - AN UNFRIENDLY FRIENDLY

Hay quienes dicen que el futbol no existen los partidos amistosos; el partido de ayer le hace honor a ese pensamiento.

A priori al ver las alineaciones de ambos equipos se podía creer seria un primer tiempo aburrido, pues ambos estrategas partieron con un 11 inicial que dejaba a entender seria en el segundo tiempo jugasen las figuras (Vinicius,Leao,Maignan,Rodrygo,Modric) pero lo cierto es que el partido fue bastante electrico desde el principio hasta el final.

Jude Bellingham partía como titular, en un esquema táctico de Ancelotti un tanto novedoso, presentando un 4-3-1-2 con Joselu y Brahim en punta, soportados por Bellingham como 10 o mediapunta.

El Madrid manejaba la pelota, y el Milan sorprendía con una presión extremadamente alta, siendo Loftus Cheek el mediocampista que impartía musculo y recuperación.

Las ocasiones por parte del Madrid se hacían presentes de primero, pero Simic y Tomori controlaban bien los ataques del Madrid. Por su lado el Milan no aviso, si no que vacuno de forma inmediata; Pulisic ejecutaba un tiro de esquina que Tomori cabeceaba prácticamente solo en el área chica, dejando como gran responsable a Lunin en la jugada. El Milan contragolpeaba bien y con Messias estuvo a punto de marcar el segundo, el brasilero saldría lesionado y en su lugar Luka Romero se hacia presente en el campo y el chico Argentino pondría su nombre en el marcador con un verdadero golazo cerca del final del primer tiempo, al recibir al borde el área, controlar orientado y rematar con un zurdazo potente y poniendo el 2 a 0 en el final del primer tiempo.

El Madrid cambiaria casi a todo el equipo a excepción de Valverde, Bellingham y Lunin. El Milan seguiría con los mismos jugadores al comienzo de la segunda parte.

Rápidamente el efecto de los cracks del Madrid se harían presente en el estadio y en un periodo de 3 minutos el equipo merengue empataría el encuentro, con una cuota de suerte tras los errores graves de Sportiello y Tomori en cada uno de los goles.

No seria hasta después del minuto 65 que en el Milan llegarian los cambios y se veria a Theo, Leao, Giroud, Maignam, Reijinders y demás. Y con la entrada de estos el Milan aumentaría su intensidad en el ataque. Dos ocasiones llegarían casi que seguidas para los de Pioli, generadas de los pies de Leao, con una asistencia a Giroud quien cabeceaba muy bien pero Lunin atajaba aun mejor, y un desborde hasta la linea de fondo y un pase atrás que ningún rossonero pudo definir de buena forma.

Al perdonar al Madrid, lo mas probable es que lo pagues caro, y así fue. Modric recuperaba una pelota en el mediocampo y en uno de esos pases que parecen tan sencillos por el habilita a Vinicius que solo tuvo que controlar y conducir para poder batir con tranquilidad a Mike en el arco del Milan y efectuar la remontada merengue sobre la rossonera.

El Milan buscaría el empate pero el Madrid se defendía bien, especialmente con Fran Garcia quien cerraba muy bien en el lateral. El partido terminaba con victoria del Madrid sobre el Milan en un verdadero partidazo que de amistoso tuvo muy poco.

El esquema del 4-3-1-2 para el Madrid es novedoso sin embargo ayer no se mostro tan aceitado. Hace falta practicarlo mas pero lo veo un tanto prometedor, especialmente si los interpretes son los titulares, teniendo en cuenta que durante gran parte el Madrid jugo con los suplentes.

El Milan tuvo una primera parte muy buena y una segunda mala. Solo es un amistoso pero es un aviso importante; no se puede dormir y confiar, especialmente ante rivales poderosos. Loftus Cheek tiene buena conducción y potencia, pero su toma de decisiones me da la impresión no es la mejor.
