¡Bona nit a tots! Concluyeron los 16vos de final de la Europa league, culmino el duelo mas atractivo de todo el play-offs. Manchester United y Barcelona no decepcionaron en el duelo de vuelta, o quizá, uno de ellos si lo hizo; El Barcelona. Pero en lo que respecta a la eliminatoria como tal, para todo el espectador del deporte seguro consiguió diamante al estar buscando oro. Los Diablos Rojos eliminaron de forma merecida y justa al Barcelona que no levanta cabeza en competencia europea, así como otros remontan con facilidad, al Barca le remontan con facilidad, y en ese contraste que conlleva cierta comparación odiosa pero real, están los grandes clubes españoles. TODA BUENA RACHA TIENE UN FIN - EVERY GOOD RUN COMES TO AN END

Durante todos los encuentros transcurridos en 2023 el Barca no perdió ninguno de esos partidos, algunos de ellos con extremo dominio por parte del cuadro dirigido por Xavi, y otros, por la mínima, apretando los dientes y rogando a alguna deidad para que el rival fallase sus ocasiones, o bien sea, por la grandiosa labor de Ter Stegen protegiendo el pórtico blaugrana. Durante toda esa racha el Barca enfrento rivales de un nivel considerable: Atletico Madrid, Betis, Real Madrid, Villareal, Sevilla, y muchos mas. Todos venciendolos, todos con coraje y gallardía.

Pero durante esa racha, el hincha mas optimista/realista (que vengo a ser yo) pensaba que el hechizo mágico tarde o temprano se iba a terminar, que lo que durante algún momento fue resplandor y gloria tarde o temprano seria oscuridad y fracaso, por simple principio básico aplicado a la vida en general: Es una montaña rusa y así como subes, vas a caer.

Y si, con ese tremendo pesimismo afrontaba cada encuentro, pero es a lo que me ha acostumbrado, la vida misma, y el mismo Barcelona, así que me he acoplado a lo que es la realidad misma. Hace una semana el Barcelona tenia la oportunidad de aprovechar su localia ante el United, pero no lo hizo, y eso en competencia europea se paga un poco caro.

De manera que hoy, una vez iniciado el día, había determinado que seria el día que la buena racha llegaría a su fin, y como es de infalible la ley de atracción, pues entonces el universo conspiro a favor -o en contra, para el Barca, correspondería decir...-

SIN NOVEDADES, DE NUEVO, ELIMINADOS - NO NEWS, AGAIN, ELIMINATED.

No pensé que el equipo fuese a jugar hoy 4-4-2 debido a las bajas importantes de Gavi y Pedri; aun así, no tenia nada que cuestionarle a Xavi, el ideo ese sistema para el Barca y con el se erigió el 11 de gala que encamino esa buena racha culminada el dia de hoy. Pedri fue reemplazado por Sergi Roberto y Gavi lo mismo por Kessie.

De resto, 11 de gala. El United solo cambio a Malacia por Lisandro, de resto, fue el mismo equipo que jugo hace una semana en España.

Comenzado el encuentro Bruno tuvo una jugada clave en sus pies, tras recibir un buen pase de Casemiro, el Portugués no logro vencer a Ter Stegen quien, por enésima vez, volvía a ser determinante en el arco del Barca. La presión de Old Trafford a favor de los Diablos Rojos se hacia sentir en los jugadores cules, quienes con el pasar de los minutos empezaban a controlar la pelota a su favor, y con ello, controlar el partido.

Alejandro Balde estaba teniendo una buena actuación, hasta que la evoluciono a excelente al conseguir un penal (cuestionable, quizá) pero penal al fin. Lewandowski vencía con suspenso a De Gea y el Barca se ponía adelante en el marcador, luego de ello, justo al final del primer tiempo, De Gea se equivocaba en salida, y entre Sergi Roberto y Kessie no lograron capitalizar esa acción que muy probablemente hubiera tenido una importancia nociva en lo que fue el resto del partido.

Iniciada la segunda parte, Kessie perdía una pelota en el lateral derecho, y Bruno habilito a Fred quien, de derecha, lograba batir a Ter Stegen, y ahí el Barcelona básicamente pereció. Lo anímico siempre le ha pesado a este equipo en Europa, y el Manchester United, envalentonado, se ponía adelante en el marcador con una fortuita jugada entre puros rebotes, Antony seria el encargado de poner el 2 a 1 definitivo.

Este equipo ha fracasado por octava vez en Europa. 8, es el titulo de este escrito, 8 veces, 2016,2017,2018,2019,2020,2021,2022,2023, con la cara pintada un Martes/Miercoles/Jueves. 8 veces fracasados, cuando otrora el club era respetado y en ocasiones vanagloriado con el titulo continental. Es un bochorno lo de hoy. ¿Es gracioso? quizá, difícil decidirlo, lo dejo a absoluto albedrío de cada quien, aunque me atrevo a decir que si lo es. El United ha demostrado ser un equipazo post derrota ante Brentford al inicio de la campaña, han edificado un verdadero equipazo, con una columna vertebral increíble, y con jugadores que dejan la vida en el campo, así, se juegan estos partidos, es así, como se debe enseñar a jugar al fútbol en las escuelas, demostrando que se puede estar abajo en el marcador, pero arriba con la vergüenza deportiva sin dejar de intentarlo. Merecida victoria y de ahora en adelante, candidato extremadamente serio el United para coronarse en la competición.

Ahora, el Barcelona se enfrentara a Almeria, por liga. Los chicos deben levantar cabeza para lo que viene, con todo deseo que así sea, pero algo me dice que va a costar levantarse de esto (para los jugadores, a mi ya me da igual producto de la costumbre).
