La grada de animación y las demás almas en el Bernabeu apoyaron al equipo alentando con todo. Pero era necesario el futbol de los que manejaban la pelota, y eso no ocurrió en ningún momento.
El Arsenal se defendió a la perfección, y tras una maravillosa jugada orquestada por Saka, Odegaard y Merino (también participo Rice) Saka tendría su revancha y pondría el 1 a 0 en el marcador, 4 a 0 en el global, la eliminatoria parecia definitivamente sentenciada. Yo en lo particular dije en varias ocasiones, en esta comunidad, que el Madrid remontaría, pero me he equivocado. El nivel demostrado por el club blanco esta temporada ha sido malo, pero en Champions siempre han hecho las cosas bien llegando lejos en muchas ocasiones sin jugar de manera vistosa o sin tener altos niveles en su juego. Hoy han quedado fuera de manera dolorosa (5 goles se comieron en toda la eliminatoria) y con ello se supone habrán cambios. Veremos lo que depara su futuro, aun queda temporada y dos títulos en juego.
Arsenal es merecido seminifinalista y tiene herramientas para competir contra el Paris. Serán unas lindas semifinales.
