Hallo Freunde,

heute sollten Handwerker bei uns eigentlich ein paar Dinge reparieren und auf einen besseren Stand bringen. Mit der Besitzerin hatten wir vorher gesprochen und ihre Erlaubnis erhalten, wenn wir diese Umbauten selbst bezahlten.
Die Handwerker waren da, das Material unterwegs, aber die Landlady, die dazukam, hat ihre Meinung geändert und alles sollte so bleiben wie es eben ist. Nach langen Verhandlungen dürfen wir wenigstens die gröbsten Mängel beheben, aber ein Upgrade der Wohnung ist nicht mehr möglich.
Keine Ahnung, was die Meinungsänderung ausgelöst hat, aber so ist es nun mal.

Tja, für uns heißt das aber letztendlich, dass wir hier nicht für länger bleiben werden. Ohne eine gut gesicherte Wohnung will ich nicht für Wochen oder Monate abwesend sein, wenn wir auf Reisen sind und ohne warmes Wasser, Aircon und eine halbwegs funktionierende Küche ist es auch nichts für länger.
Mal sehen, was sich daraus ergibt.

Hello friends,

today craftsmen should actually repair a few things at our place and bring them to a better state. We had talked to the owner before and got her permission if we paid for these alterations ourselves.
The craftsmen were there, the material was on the way, but the landlady who came changed her mind and everything should stay as it is. After long negotiations we are allowed to fix at least the roughest defects, but an upgrade of the apartment is no longer possible.
I don't know what caused the change of mind, but that's the way it is.

Well, for us this means in the end that we will not stay here for longer. Without a well secured apartment I don't want to be absent for weeks or months when we are traveling and without hot water, aircon and a halfway working kitchen it's nothing for longer either.
Let's see what comes of it.
