Hello friends,

For days there are longer power outages here. So short switching failures , there are every day and one has become accustomed to it. That's just the way it is when there are no redundancy or ring lines.
But since Monday it fails punctually around noon and is switched on again around 17.00Uhr. There seems to be some really big construction work going on somewhere.
For me, it's not really bad. One of my computers, the one that has no battery left and whose touchscreen doesn't work anymore, just shuts down. I turn off the second monitor, which is powered by the notebook, by hand and that's it.
Internet runs reliably via the hotspot of my mobile, so I don't want a landline. Who knows if the distribution stations have big and working batteries. The mobile network has always worked so far.
Somewhat annoying is that I have no water in case of power outage. but even that can be gotten over and you can make provisions except for the shower.

My studio has 45 sqm and costs 200USD per month. The rent includes electricity, water, sewage, garbage.
Here you can estimate the distance to the beach, I need 20 minutes to walk.
Just in case any of you want to escape hysterical Europe for a while.

Seit Tagen gibt es hier längere Stromausfälle. So kurze Umschaltausfälle , die gibt es jeden Tag und man hat sich daran gewöhnt. Das ist eben so, wenn es keine Redundanz- oder Ringleitungen gibt.
Aber seit Montag fällt er pünktlich gegen Mittag aus und wird gegen 17.00Uhr wieder eingeschaltet. Irgendwo scheint es richtig große Bauarbeiten zu geben.
Für mich ist es nicht wirklich schlimm. Einer meiner Rechner, der der keinen Akku mehr hat und dessen Touchscreen nicht mehr funktioniert, schaltet sich eben ab. Ich schalte den zweiten Monitor, den vom Notebook befeuert wird, per Hand ab und das wars.
Internet läuft über den Hotspot meines Handies zuverlässig, deshalb möchte ich auch kein Festnetz. Wer weiß, ob die Verteilerstationen große und funktionierende Akkus haben. Das Mobilnetz funktionierte bis jetzt immer.
Etwas ärgerlich ist, dass ich bei Stromausfall kein Wasser habe. aber auch das ist zu verschmerzen und man kann bis auf die Dusche auch vorsorgen.

Hierkönnt Ihr ungefähr die Entfernungen zum Strand überschlagen, ich brauche 20 Minuten zu Fuß.
Nur für den Fall, jemand von Euch möchte dem hysterischen Europa für eine Weile entfliehen.
