It was tough but Team Blockchain came in 3rd this time!

As each tournament of this Lichess league goes by we are seeing tougher and tougher opponents, again we were playing in this league and I think this time I wasn't the best I can be over the board, there were a lot of games so I will start with this report.

This league is a team league and team Blockchain has been having some pretty good runs where we have been in first place a handful of times, this is amazing knowing all the strong players that are in these tournaments.

This was my first game where it was confirmed that I wasn't in the best shape, blitz is something that comes easy to me but lately I've been starting to play slower and I've paid for it, since the opening I was practically lost and we started the tournament in a bad way.

I raised my head a little in the second game where I could get a victory with the berserk included that put me at the top of the list for the team, the important thing is always to add but in these tournaments is complicated.

I think that in this tournament I had some of the strongest opponents, several masters who knew the whole board from top to bottom knew how to reveal my defenses and attack to beat me easily, at this rate I thought I was not going to get even 10 points but I think that a series of games were going to return me to the game.

One of my favourite games of the tournament, lots of action and lots of tactics in the middle in a game where I was in control for most of it, playing quickly and leaving no chance to respond, it was a very good game from me and it lifted my spirits.

But if I have to say something about a game it has to be the one against a titled FIDE master in which I came out quite well both in the opening and in the middlegame, surely there are some moves in which I had to think a bit more but I played a solid game that I managed to win very convincingly, a round game from start to finish.

A very good tournament by the team that was more numerous than ever and contributed some key points to secure that third place that keeps us in the league race, now it seems we are going to another tournament in the next few days and I hope to contribute as I have been doing lately, thanks for the support and see you in another chess report.
