¡Hola! ¿Qué tal están? 👋🏻 Espero que muy bien.

El #HiveRun de este fin de semana estuvo solitario para mí, mis compañeros usuales estuvieron de viaje, y tuve que ir yo solita. Dado que necesito un compañero para esto, le pedí a Isabella (la tigresa del parque) que por favor se apoyara de la reja para verse en la foto, ¡y lo hizo! Espero que esto cuente 🙏🏻, aunque ella corrió dentro de la jaula y yo fuera.

Me alegra decirles que esto fue mucho menos agotador que las semanas pasadas. En parte, probablemente, por el hecho de que corrí entre semana. Siempre me he considerado algo sedentaria, y poco capaz en cualquier deporte, pero me hace sentir mucho mejor que ya no termino tan agotada como antes. De hecho, hasta no tuve mareos fuertes como normalmente me pasa.

Esta vez, como novedad:

  • Llevé el bolso mientras corría (lo que más pesaba ahí era el litro de agua, que no me tomé completo, por cierto. LOL)
  • No respiré por la boca en ningún punto del camino (¿habrá influido eso?)
  • Empecé a las 08:00 AM, y no a las 09:00 AM.
  • Dado que estaba sola, elegí una ruta un poco distinta para correr, para sentirme más cómoda. Luego se la sugiero a mis compañeros, creo que les puede parecer bien a ellos igualmente.
  • Iba escuchando música (la que estrena auriculares 🤭).
  • Ya me acostumbré que alguna que otra persona se me quede mirando. LOL. Al principio me sentía como otra atracción, además de los animales y la gente que hace yoga (mi respeto para ellos). Pero, ya me siento normal.

Hi! How are you doing? 👋🏻 I hope very well.

This weekend's #HiveRun was lonely for me, my usual companions were away, and I had to go solo. Since I need a partner for this, I asked Isabella (the park tigress) to please lean on the fence to see herself in the photo, and she did! I hope this counts 🙏🏻, even though she ran inside the cage and I ran outside.

I'm happy to tell you that this was much less exhausting than the past few weeks. Partly, probably, due to the fact that I ran midweek. I've always considered myself somewhat sedentary, and not very capable in any sport, but it makes me feel so much better that I don't end up as exhausted as I used to. In fact, I didn't even have strong dizziness as I usually do.

This time, as a novelty:

  • I carried the bag while running (what weighed the most in there was the liter of water, which I didn't drink the whole thing, by the way. LOL)
  • I didn't breathe through my mouth at any point along the way (could that have influenced it?).
  • I started at 08:00 AM, not 09:00 AM.
  • Since I was alone, I chose a slightly different route to run, to feel more comfortable. Then I suggest it to my companions, I think it might be ok for them anyway.
  • I was listening to music (the one with brand new headphones 🤭).
  • I've gotten used to the occasional person staring at me. LOL. At first I felt like another attraction, besides animals and people who do yoga (my respect to them). But, I feel normal now.
