Les presento a mi compañero de la semana (ta-ta-ta-taaam)...

Mejor conocido como @literal, un cubano... ¡sí! Me tocó un hablante del español esta vez. Como algunos saben, yo no hablo inglés, así que es un trabajo extra traducir, y el hecho de que a veces el traductor no es suficiente... en fin.
Conocí a @literal a través del servidor de Smile, gracias a que le dijeron que se pusiera en contacto conmigo por ser hispanohablante también, y aunque la semana en la que hablamos ya yo tenía mi compañera, esta semana sí pudimos hacer la actividad juntos. Pude conversar fluidamente con este amigo por WhatsApp y también fue agradable.
En seguida descubrí que el hombre entiende bastante bien el inglés (le hice una pequeña prueba de escucha 😅) y acertó perfectamente, como no lo suelen hacer mis otros conocidos que están aprendiendo inglés. Eso me impresionó favorablemente. Luego pude escuchar su acento en español y yo, siendo amante de los acentos, quedé fascinada, queriendo aprenderlo a ver si logro imitarlo. 😁
Mi amigo tiene 32 años de edad, y su blog en la cadena de bloques consta de, esencialmente, lo que su propio nombre de usuario dice... literatura y libros. Un dato que descubrí por el contestador automatizado de Whatsapp: es un emprendedor... 100 de 100 por eso. 💯
A penas lleva un mes y medio en Hive, pero está trabajando mucho en crecer dentro de la plataforma y estoy segura de que lo logrará. Para empezar, ya tiene una marca sólida y un nicho claro, se ha puesto manos a la obra para volver su cuenta lo más profesional posible, y eso es de admirar.
Un detalle, es que hace un rato lo vi en la lista de Leaderboard en Zealy, en una posición de 40 y tantos... Felicitaciones 🎊. Sé que ha estado muy ocupado con eso. Lo lograrás, compañero.
Cuando le pregunté qué hacía en el tiempo libre, me respondió literalmente:
-¿Qué es eso? 😅 No, en serio, no tengo mucho y el que tengo lo dedico a leer y pasar tiempo en familia.
Así que... ¿Qué más puedo añadir? Emprendedor, esposo y padre de familia, bilingüe... ¡Ah, sí!
-¿Tres cualidades que te definan? -le pregunté.
-Mmmm... perseverante, tenaz, sincero -fue su respuesta.
-¿Cómo buscas inspirar a otros en Hive? -fue la siguiente cuestión.
-Ayudando en lo que pueda, compartiendo lo que sé, socializando...
-¿Por qué dirías que estás orgulloso de lo que has estado haciendo en Hive?
-Diría que porque he descubierto una pasión qué no conocía en mi. Y porque representa salir de mi zona de confort, un campo nuevo de aprendizaje para mí. Siempre estoy buscando expandir mi zona de confort.
En este punto me propuso jugar ajedrez ♟️, y estuve de acuerdo.
Durante los pocos minutos que duró el juego, yo no podía parar de reír... y creo que a él le pudo haber pasado algo similar. Véanlo ustedes mismos en el GIF adjunto.

Better known as @literal, a Cuban.... Yes! I got a Spanish speaker this time. As some of you know, I don't speak English, so it's extra work to translate, and the fact that sometimes the translator isn't enough... anyway.
I met @literal through Smile's server, thanks to being told to contact me because I'm a Spanish speaker too, and although the week we talked I already had my partner, this week we were able to do the activity together. I was able to converse fluently with this friend via WhatsApp and he was also pleasant.
I found out right away that the man understands English quite well (I gave him a little listening test 😅) and he got it right perfectly, as my other acquaintances who are learning English usually don't. That impressed me favorably. Then I could hear his accent in Spanish and I, being an accent lover, was fascinated, wanting to learn it to see if I can imitate it. 😁
My friend is 32 years old, and his blog on the blockchain consists of, essentially, what his own username says... literature and books. One tidbit I found out from the Whatsapp automated responder: he's an entrepreneur.... 100 out of 100 for that. 💯
He's only been on Hive for a month and a half, but he's working hard to grow within the platform and I'm sure he'll succeed. For starters, he already has a solid brand and a clear niche, he has set to work to make his account as professional as possible, and that is to be admired.
One detail, is that a while ago I saw you on the Leaderboard list on Zealy, in a 40-something position.... Congratulations 🎊. I know you've been very busy with that. You'll make it, mate.
When I asked him what he did in his spare time, he literally replied:
-What's that? 😅 No, seriously, I don't have much and what I do have is spent reading and spending time with family.
So. What else can I add? Entrepreneur, husband and family man, bilingual? Ah, yes!
-Three qualities that define you? -I asked.
-Mmmm... Persevering, tenacious, sincere -was his answer.
-How do you seek to inspire others in Hive? -was the next question.
-Helping where I can, sharing what I know, socializing....
-Why would you say you are proud of what you have been doing at Hive?
-I would say because I have discovered a passion that I didn't know in me. And because it represents stepping out of my comfort zone, a new field of learning for me. I'm always looking to expand my comfort zone.
At this point he proposed me to play chess ♟️, and I agreed.
During the few minutes that the game lasted, I couldn't stop laughing... and I think something similar may have happened to him. See for yourselves in the attached GIF.
