The 5th Day of My Journey as Kitchen Personnel
Hello, Have a nice and wonderful day to all of you my dear Hive friends. This time I would like to share with you the 5th of our journey and kitchen personnel and the last day of our marketing journey since on the next day we will be going home even if it's not the last day of the event but since all of our athletes had played already so why we should wait Friday to go home? The delegation wanted to save a little cash for the coming provincial sports meet.
Again we woke up early this time and cooked for breakfast and lunch since some athletes still had the last fight. We again cooked boiled egg and ham this time and for their lunch, we cooked lumpia and pork halang2. After cooking our breakfast and taking a bath we went to the market again to purchase ingredients for our dinner and breakfast. We went again to Super Metro. This time I looked for a place where I could take a set for a while because my feet were arching while walking and always standing while cooking. I felt tired this time but I just enjoyed every moment so that I couldn't feel that I started to feel the pressure of our daily routine of preparation.
We went also to the wet market after we had marketing at the metro. We went to vegetables and other ingredients like fish and meat. On my 3rd time visiting the market, it was just that time I saw a replica of pork lechon hanging above. Now I realize that Carcar City was famous for its pork lechon.
After marketing, we went to our billeting quarters to prepare our dinner. I cooked "pinakbet" or vegetable dish with a twist, special bam-e, and grilled fish. After cooking we served it immediately to our athletes and coaches and they were all satisfied with the delicious meal served.
That's all for now and thank you for the support.
Oh yes, the Carcar Letchon and Chicharon are the best!
Those pancit looks delicious!
Yes super yummy!! Thank you, mam.
