Oct. 10, 22: Routine, Short Walk, Teaching, TV, and Games

[Dang it! Running short on time again today. Forgot that we had our weekly PIMP meeting this morning, so kind of splitting my attention at the moment…]

Slept from seven until seven tonight!!! That’s the third day in a row that not only did I get a full night, but we’ll over! Got a solid eleven hours! 😮 I guess I needed it. Still kind of fighting a cold (the smoking doesn’t help with getting over being sick), but I felt quite a bit better as far as feeling tired, so that’s a bonus. 😁

Mostly just the usual stuff in the morning. Can’t really think of much to note. BTC has fallen back to the low/mid $19k’s again but Hive is holding up relatively speaking. I guess the one thing that was going on was the start of the HF26 transition. Hive.vote was down all day and that hurt a bit on my post, but otherwise not really noticed any problems yet.

Otherwise, just the usual morning routine. Shifted tokens, did some curation, chatted on Discord, all the normal, and then worked on my post. For once I actually had a decent amount of time and didn’t have to crazy rush to get it done like the rest of the last week (and today as well).

After I got my post done and shared, i decided that I’d head out for a bit of a walk. It had been a while since the doggy had a chance to go out either, so I took him with even though I knew that meant we’d spend most of the time sniffing rather than getting any proper distance in. Still, wasn’t too bad out and I think he enjoyed it even though he wanted to do some more sniffing when I had to start getting ready for work.

The Fall is really starting to set in now, and we’re not seeing temps above sixty any more. 😭 Still, the wind wasn’t bad, so a jacket was enough.

Got home, grabbed my usual sandwich for lunch and then hopped in the shower and got ready for work. I needed to get gas, so was on the road a few minutes late, but the drive was smooth and I was there and set up with time to spare.

Today we looked at simplifying like radicals. We basically practiced like three examples of each type of problem in the section and we were done nearly an hour early! I feel really guilty letting them go that soon, but we did what we needed to do, so no reason to beat a dead horse.

The drive home went smoothly as well and I got home with plenty of time that I could have used to work on the website…I tried to pin down a goal and managed to make myself really sick to my stomach and all stressed out and basically just hid in Wombat games instead. 😡. Really need to get past this, I’m doing it to myself.

When Wenche got done with work, she made us some turkey tacos for dinner and we watched some Murder, She Wrote for a while until we switched to Golden Girls until bedtime.

[Hopefully hive.vote will work today…and hopefully I’ve gotten enough of a word count to qualify for the BroFund vote…we’ll see, if I need to edit, then so be it.]

Been keeping at missions there on Rising Star lately, but it seems like I got some drunks again and my Ego shot up to five. For now I’m just going to ignore it, though, and keep on with missions until they expire.

To be honest, I was actually slightly tempted to play Splinterlands today. Coming up on the end of the season and facing getting buried even worse, I thought about it, but that was as far as I got.

Went in and claimed my SPS interest for the day and having staked the last three, decided to leave it liquid for now. Still not messed with vouchers yet either.
