Mar. 3, 22: Routine, Errands, Oculus, Web Work, TV, and Games
[It’s past quarter after ten now that I have to wait to post. It’s annoying enough at this point that I suppose it’s time to post at ten and get skipped. 🤬 It has been a couple weeks since the last time, but being skipped (and having to deal with this every day) is stupid and unnecessary.]
Today was the first day of Spring Break, and although it was expected (by me) that the day would be blown playing video games, watching TV, and/or sleeping, that was not at all the case! In fact, I spent nearly the entire day working on the website. 💪 That turned out to be a a sort of two steps forward, one step back situation, but more on that shortly.
At this point I’m thinking I might as well just give up on getting anywhere close to a solid eight hours of sleep. I went to bed a little later than usual, but nothing crazy, only like nine, and was up at five, but still more than an hour short on actual sleep time. I didn’t drag too bad, though, and my focus/motivation to work is quite high, so I’ll call it close enough.
Not too much going on with the usual morning routine, just the usual. Except, I suppose, finding various damage around the kitchen and pantry from the damn mice 🐁 that have decided to make our house theirs. Cryptos more or less sideways if not down a little, so nothing interesting really there. Otherwise, got my post done and then headed into town to do my weekly errands.
They have, at least, filled most of the worst potholes on the road in there. I mean, there was hardly any road left last I went! 😱😡 I mean, what’s the deal with the Statists and all their “muh roads!” when the government can’t even do that close to right? 🤷
Anyway, got back and already had a pretty solid start on the day and figured I’d get some procrastination out of my system real quick. Jumped into VR for one go through of an escape room on normal difficulty (made it, but only three stars 😢) and then about an hour or so of Puzzling Places (finished the one puzzle I had been working on for a while and then started another.
Figured that was enough. Quit out, got some lunch, and then sat down to properly work on the website. My goal for today was to get identity verification going with Keychain. I tried for a while to use requestVerifyKey, but I didn’t realize I needed to send an encrypted message, not just a string…tried another op and got the same error that it was incomplete or the wrong format.
Asked over in Discord and hivetrending suggested trying requestSignBuffer. I gave that a go and woot! Got it to work! So that was the goal for the day, to get Keychain to request a key and then do my ops after it’s signed.
At that point I tried to integrate the database operation and things broke. 😭 I still have no idea why, getting 500 error and a cascade of errors from jQuery…could be a number of things and not sure how to approach debugging. 😡
Trying to figure out what’s wrong with the function now that I try to alter the database was were I left it to get dinner…turns out, though, that the work I thought I had achieved was more or less useless since it seems anyone can just spoof the success:true return. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Means there’s a bunch more work to do in both the front and back ends to get requestVerifyKey to work properly and to verify the decode on the back end somehow. Ninety percent of the time is spent trying to not let people break stuff. 😭🤬
Luckily, it seems that I don’t have to be quite as crazy about requestTransfer since it’s an actual signed transaction, but have to wait and listen for it to post to the chain to verify, which is what I had planned on doing anyway.
I did take a little break from work in the afternoon to hang out for a while in Pizza server for Raven’s show. Not exactly my style of music, but not bad, and I won a little bit of PIZZA playing trivia. 😁 Mostly, though, it ended up being on in the background while I was working.
When Wenche got home from work she made us pasta and meat sauce for dinner and I pulled myself away from the computer and tried to stop thinking about it for a bit. We watched some more Inbetweeners and I played a ton of Splinterlands until bedtime.
What, what?! We’re actually all the way up into double digit income from dShitty today? Woah! Fifteen words is a tall order…this is only a fun deal when they’re being their usual shitty selves, not for aberrations like this. Still, I randomly and arbitrarily bound myself to this deal with nobody else, so here goes: generally speaking, despite not even being worth the time, I write more here than deserved.
Went in a couple times on Rising Star today. I switched over to lessons for a bit and got my Ego back to zero, so pounding out missions again; same stuff different day. Still haven’t done anything with those Starbits, which is my fault, so probably shouldn’t complain too much.
Definitely played some Splinterlands today. Got caught up with my daily quests and made some progress in the ranks.
I still had a few wins left for my Dragon quest from yesterday and I got it done still in Gold III:
For my quest today I got Death splinter, and I probably could have run with it, but switched up and got Fire instead, which is about the same level of difficulty for me, I suppose.
Had a few good wins and broke into Gold II:
Got today’s quest done in Gold II and got pretty good rewards! Got mostly cards as well as a Chaos Legion pack:
The pack turned out to be quite good as well! 👍 Got an epic and two gold foil rares:
Otherwise, staked my SPS drop for the day, but man! It fell by quite a bit! 😱 So much for keeping it stable. 😢 No moves as far as vouchers either. Getting some more stockpiled in game for my SPS holdings, but just been waiting since the Waka thing is over and demand has lessened.

Power up and Hive on!
The people doing V2K with remote neural monitoring want me to believe this lady @battleaxe is an operator. She is involved deeply with her group and @fyrstikken . Her discord is Battleaxe#1003. I cant prove she is the one directly doing the V2K and RNM. Doing it requires more than one person at the least. It cant be done alone. She cant prove she is not one of the ones doing it. I was drugged in my home covertly, it ended badly. They have tried to kill me and are still trying to kill me. I bet nobody does anything at all. Ask @battleaxe to prove it. I bet she wont. They want me to believe the V2K and RNM in me is being broadcast from her location. And what the fuck is "HOMELAND SECURITY" doing about this shit? I think stumbling over their own dicks maybe? Just like they did and are doing with the Havana Syndrome https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism
