Apr. 29, 22: Routine, Oculus, Walking, Pizza Trivia, SM Season End, TV, and Games

Slept nine to five today almost exactly, but looking at the FitBit report, I can see a bunch of times where I’m waking up. Altogether it added up to over an hour and I ended well short. I did drag a little, but decided to fight it by taking the dog out for a walk.

Did all the usual morning routine and lost even more money on Polygon…that’s another .1 ETH evaporated in the last two days. 🤬 Kind of ironic that the whole idea was to earn interest to build Solairitas…can’t even get back to my original investment, would have been thousands of dollars better off just letting the ETH sit where it was on Coinbase. 🤬 This was all a result of FIRE and BRO and that whole deal, which got me thinking (like it does every morning I go in and see how much more value I’ve lost)…

That got me kind of upset thinking about how Ray has told me to shut up and wait for the last nine months about the fact that he gave complete control of his project to a dev that’s AFK and ignored it since it primarily only affected me. Now that it’s a serious problem for everyone he let BroFi die…I assume it’s a matter of time before Brofund does the same. I sent him a message saying that our relationship was extremely borderline and could get sour real quick and he just literally told me to fuck off and wait:

I’m very seriously considering completely disassociating from this kind of incompetent assholery. If not for the asinine decision to give someone else control of his project, if not for being strung along for nine months, if not for the crap scam investments, if not for his crying that he’s put 20k of his own money into Cine (meaning he had the resources to fix the problem but was too big for his britches and had other priorities - didn’t care because it mostly only hit me), if not for this response, but for the damage he’s done to his own reputation…the conversations I hear around the community revolve around “malicious at worst, incompetent at best.”

May just take him up on that offer to buy me out, but he’s gonna’ need to pay through the nose if he thinks I’m going to consider the slate clean. Seriously, I don’t know what he’s done to warrant this much patience from me to begin with? 🤷

Was shaking I was so pissed off by that point and I just walked away for the moment…clearly I’ve decided, in the minimum, to give him a significant portion of bad press in this post. We’ll see where we go from there. [It’s obviously still really bothering me…getting a little shaky even now. 😡]

Got my post done and shared and all that and couldn’t resist the call of the Oculus. I really did want to sit down at the computer today, but got that anxiety spike when I tried to make myself and never actually did. 😢

Played some more Mercenaries on Resi 4 and made some “progress.” Got four stars on all the classic levels and unlocked all the characters and earned some more medals on the challenges. There was one where you have the helpless NPC girl to have to worry about as well, particularly difficult with the chainsaw zombies that will one hit kill. 😱😮 Got three stars, though, was surprised!

Quit out and grabbed some lunch and then hit the wall a bit. It was still pretty early in the day (not even noon yet) and I decided to take the doggy out for a nice long walk instead of laying down.

Still a little chilly for my tastes, but when the clouds split, the sunshine was quite warm and I got a bit of a sweat going.

After I got back and grabbed a shower, it was time for Pizza Trivia Night!!! 🍕😁❤️🥳 Was rough this time, I didn’t do nearly as well as I normally do, but still got 6.1 PIZZA! 🤑

After trivia , I quick went down to the store and rented us the new Spider-Man movie that just came out for Friday Night movie. When Wenche got home, she made us some chicken and curly fries and salad for dinner and we put on the movie.

To be completely honest, I thought it was pretty boring. Spoiler: the fight with Mysterio was awesome, but despite my best efforts to stay awake, I was gone before the movie ended.

Woke up a bit later, brushed my teeth, and watched a little Bullshit before falling asleep again.

No crime or crises or anything in dShitty today, as opposed to the three yesterday. Still negative thirty-five stated and six actual; ahhhh, shittiness saturation.

I put in a lesson on Rising Star this morning and that was it. The drunks expired and my Ego is zero, so back to slogging missions.

Yay had zero desire to play Splinterlands today. In fact, the urge never even crossed my mind. Got all the OP decks and bots reset back down and just farming the rewards; not worth the bother.

Today was the end of the season and the rewards were honestly pretty shite. Got some common upgrade fodder, one good DEC, and a pack (that I totally forgot about until just now), otherwise tiny DEC, potions and other such garbage:
