Actifit RC: Nov 14th 24 - Not everything is as it seems

The air is very cold in these days of the central week of November and the weather was uncertain in these two days and today surprisingly it has rained.

The trip to Naples today had not been scheduled but it was also appreciated because I could exercise physical activity traveling through the city of Naples.

While I was waiting for the train to Pianura I could take some photos from the top of the church of Montesanto since the line is in a raised point compared to the ecclesiastical building.

I arrived at the Split Mountain road that is called so because since it is divided between two hills seems to be between a half-split mountain.

It does indeed seem to be so, but for those who know the geology and morphology of the place, know very well that these are two volcanic hills formed by old craters from the career of the fields Phlegraean, One of which is particularly famous because it hosts the natural park of Astroni.

The photos I took are of the return home and arrived at Montesanto fireplace walk towards Piazza Borsa to take the metro line 2 instead of 1.

Unfortunately the atmosphere is not the best and it starts to rain a little but this does not let me desistere from continuing the walk in the suggestive places that are preparing to live the Neapolitan Christmas.

But there will certainly be better opportunities to provide testimonies of the local traditions of late December Neapolitan.

Non tutto è così come sembra

L'aria si mantiene molto gelida in questi giorni della settimana centrale di novembre e il tempo è stato incerto in questi due giorni ed oggi sorprendentemente a tratti ha piovuto.

La sortita a Napoli odierna non era stata preventivata ma è stata gradita anche perché così ho potuto esercitare attività fisica viaggiando per la città di Napoli.

Mentre attendevo il treno per Pianura ho potuto scattare alcune foto dall'alto della chiesa di Montesanto visto che la linea sta in un punto sopraelevato rispetto all'edificio ecclesiastico.

Sono arrivato alla via della Montagna spaccata che si chiama così perché visto che si districa tra due colline sembra sia tra una montagna spaccata a metà.

Effettivamente sembra essere così, però per chi conosce bene la geologia e la morfologia del luogo, sa benissimo che si tratta di due colline vulcaniche formate da vecchi crateri della carriera dei campi Flegrei, uno dei quali è particolarmente famoso perché ospita il parco naturale degli Astroni.

Le foto che ho scattato sono del rientro a casa e arrivato a Montesanto camino a piedi verso Piazza Borsa per prendere la linea 2 della metropolitana anziché la 1.

Purtroppo l'atmosfera non è delle migliori e comincia a piovigginare un poco ma ciò non mi lascia desistere dal continuare la passeggiata nei suggestivi luoghi che si apprestano a vivere il Natale partenopeo.

Ma ci saranno sicuramente opportunità migliori per fornire testimonianze delle tradizioni locali di fine dicembre napoletane.
