A day out at Chessington :Actifit: November 2 2024

So, off we went on a day of thrills at Chessington World of Adventures. The weather was mainly dry and about 14°C. Not too bad for November 😄.

There are many rides and attractions here, for all ages. It is a very popular theme park, with rides like Kobra.

A gigantic dish spinning and sliding along a track. Looks awesome! Then there is Croc Drop.

Not for the faint of heart! A death defying drop into the jaws of a giant crocodile! He he, I didn't dare go on this one. Another example is the Vampire ride. A roller coaster hanging under the rails. A nice ride but unfortunately, the queue was over an hour long and we didn't have any time left. 😒

There are water rides too, with a splash here and there, as shown in my picture.

Look at this Vampire inspired water fall, with the colour of blood, very grisly indeed. 👹

We had a lovely time today. Chessington also has lived animals, in fact this park started life as a zoo. I used to come to visit the zoo as a child with my parents. There were only a few large slides in those days. How things change!
