The cygnets are growing! All the wildfowl this year have produced a very early clutch. The swans are a bit behind them but are looking very strong.

My penultimate day at work was just like any other, really! The summer season has been slow to get going so far. I fully expect that when the kids break up from school, that will change, though.

The weather is gradually warming up. Rain showers are threatening all the time, but we kept dry today. Actually , I don't mind summer rain. It can be refreshing even if you get a soaking 😁. That has happened to a couple of times on this job over the years.
