My Actifit Report Card: February 23 2024
Spot the damage!
It is part of my work to report any damage that I see on an aircraft while carrying out my job of airline catering. I have found and reported damage several times before. The engineers are always grateful for this. As an extra pair of eyes, we are in a position outside the aircraft where it is difficult to see from the ground. As we raised the truck upwards I could see some material and paint chipped away from the bottom of the door.
There were engineers working on the aircraft wheels, so I shouted to ask for someone to open the door from the inside, which they did. I could then show them the damage.
I took the photos for reference and to send to our operations controller.
Another successful day at Gatwick Airport.
