Dreaming of warmer times ahead!

With plenty of restful moments today my mind has been on summer days and the warmer weather to come. Having just returned from a short foreign holiday we have already booked the next one! 😜

But now it's time to crack down to work again starting tomorrow. We have been informed of a pay rise of 6.5% backdated to 1st January. The back dated pay will be paid in this month's pay packet. Very welcome news but not quite equal to currant rates of inflation though.

Back dated pay is always a nice thing. With inflation so high though we are all suffering and I don't think anyone is getting increases close to the inflation rate. Hopefully things will calm down as the year progresses.
