After an uneventful days work, I took a walk around our shopping centre and found a colourful scene. The bunting us out! For our Queen Elizabeth's platinum jubilee celebrations.

We have two bank holidays this week (Thursday and Friday) plus the weekend, so that's four days for those not on shift work. That doesn't include me of course unfortunately, but my days off do coincide with most of it though so not so bad. There will be street partys galore, I think there are more arranged on this occasion than for the Queen's silver jubilee.
