Custom Royal

avatar
(Edited)

This is a Dodge Custom Royal! First to make its appearance in 1955, and in production till 1959. This old girl does need a bit of TLC, but with the right touches and polishes, it could be restored back to its original shape. Check out the amount of chrome on this front end. The 1950’s was the decade of chrome! You sure don’t see anything like this nowadays. Different time, different era. Would you have preferred to grow up in the 1950’s?

Wow... A very beautiful classic car, I noticed that the condition is still very good.
It is very rare to see cars like this you find.
Cool😍☺

The interior does need some work though. Exterior is much better. Thanks for looking.

Wow, what a beauty and gem on four wheels! Romania is lucky to shelter some exhibitions of classic cars where I've spotted quite a few Dodges but never saw a Royal one!

This model was only produced for 5 years, making it a rare gem. Thank for looking.

Make car designs great again. My neighbor used to restore old classics. It's not just the exteriors that had amazing designs, but the interiors were amazing as well. n car he was working on had a wrap around sofa like seat in the back seat. It was only missing a mini bar.

It's an elegant piece of tech, I'm looking at the piece of metal on it and I'm sure they don't produce such nowadays, not anymore

She is gorgeous! I would love to have one of those to fix up, what a beautiful car! The beauty and style are long gone in car making, however today's vehicles are much sager than these old timers are. Fixing that one up would take some serious TLC, and hopefully won't need to much under the hood repairs or replacements. Old cars can get expensive very fast!

Yes, this kind of project could end up costing a small fortune for sure. Someday I may hire someone with the skills to fix up, but probably would just buy one that has been restored. Maybe someday.

Have I seen this before? Wish I had one brand new. To answer your question, yes, I would like to have grown up in the 1950's. A more sane time, that's for sure.

Indeed, a time when things were less “crazy”. Not sure if you have seen this car, probably not.
