The Evolution of Soccer Games: Why Have They Changed So Much?
This time I want to share a criticism to the current soccer video games, I know that many people love it (FC24, eFootball), but there are also those who have negative opinions about the change that have had these popular video games.

Some years ago the idea of soccer video games was to have fun using our favorite club and share between friends, besides enjoying the careers of some teams or players; while the online mode existed in some of these video games (EA Sports, Konami), but it was less relevant.
But nowadays, soccer games have changed a lot, as they have improved the gameplay, graphics and have added many interesting game modes, but they have forgotten those players who just want to play matches without spending hours sitting in front of the video game console.
Differences between the current games and the old ones.
I think that a decade ago the classic games FIFA (EA Sports) and PES (Konami) were considered arcade games, because they were simple games, even though they were less realistic, but we could have fun quickly without having to configure aspects of the game or pay extra money. Nowadays, these games have turned their modalities to paid games, since to grow and to be able to enjoy the game in its totality it is necessary to invest money.
Logically it is possible to play for free, but the growth is slower, since it requires investing hours to be able to obtain coins or benefits. Previously we could keep basic templates and customize them easily to our liking, but today the approach is different, the game is full of player cards and some options are almost mandatory.
From my point of view, I think the best of FC and efootball is that they are multiplatform, but have deviated from the original path in the game modes, in addition to the problems that exist by the stiff competition for licensing clubs and selections. I honestly don't think the problem is paying, it's that they changed the original approach that existed in these type of video games.
Other interesting soccer games in the video game market.
A short time ago Cristiano Ronaldo contributed and financed the launch of a videogame called UFL, but this videogame has not been so relevant and has been criticized, even so I think this is normal, since it is a newly developed game and is taking its first steps.
But there is a video game called DLS (Dream League Soccer), this game is becoming more and more massive, and has a large community of players in various countries around the world, so it is an alternative to the games created by large companies in the video game market. After trying it I could notice that it is very similar to the first games FIFA or PES, because we can enjoy the game from day 1, besides not feeling obliged to pay, also has the online mode and challenges, so it represents a great option today.
I think the only disadvantage is that we can only play it from mobile (Android, IOS), even so it is compatible with wireless controls, another disadvantage is that we can not use a club directly, as we must go creating our teams from scratch, and the gameplay is not perfect, but it is quite good and simple. I consider it one of the best options for the fact that we can have fun playing quick matches or with our friends, plus it has the main teams and selections in the world.

Thanks for watching my post. Happy weekend.
Eccellente! Avevo una playstation 2 e l'adoravo. Una volta ho utilizzato una PlayStation 4 per promuovere il lavoro dell'intelligenza tattica nel calcio con gli atleti delle squadre di calcio con cui lavoro come psicologo dello sport.
