Mane is not the problem
I won't say it's sad to see how Liverpool has been struggling since the beginning of this new season because even their pre-season matches weren't great. They lost to Manchester United, Salzburg, and Strasbourg.
Liverpool secured their first trophy of the season after playing 3-1 against Manchester City at the King Power Stadium. Well, that's for the pre-season tour and you can't use their performance to judge the League matches.
Even though pre-season matches are different from League matches, Liverpool has been struggling. Let's take a look back at their first match against Fulham, Liverpool played a 2-2 draw against the newly promoted team with Van Dijk conceding a very silly penalty.
Liverpool failed to create chances like they use to do. They both played the same corner kick, both had the same shot on target. Well, it's just the start of the league which is what everyone said but their second match against Crystal palace at Anfield is beginning to seem like something is wrong.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw with Liverpool's new signing Darwin Nunez getting a red card for his inappropriate behavior on the pitch.
Liverpool will all know has been that team to always start the season with goals, in the ongoing transfer Liverpool hasn't been active as this coach said that they will only sign new players if the need arises. Liverpool who sold Mane, Origi, Minamino, Williams, Grujic, and many more has yet to get replacement for these important players.
Bringing of Nunez and Carvalho won't bebe enough as the club now face a lot of players been injured aside from the red card Nunez got I'm their last match. Firmino, Matip, Konate, Jota, Jones, Thiago are all out and Chamberlain has been sidelined for a long time injury.
Liverpool faces Manchester United on Monday and we know the red devils also have been awful losing two matches but would be a great headline if they can get their first win on Monday against Liverpool.
Mane is not Liverpool's problem even though we all miss him, I think Klopp needs to get one or two new signings to have enough team to rotate.
Hope you enjoyed my review about the Liverpool team, stay tuned as I bring you more about other European teams.
Thanks for clearing the air on this, it pissed me off to know that people think Mane's absence is the reason for Liverpool's setbacks so far this season but the truth is that the team is only struggling with injuries.
Darwin who was supposed to help the team now has a red card and it could get worse. I think they have forgotten that Mane was in Liverpool when Fulham played a draw against Liverpool in the 2020/21 season.
Post is too short for curation. Rewards have to justify the effort and a 2 minute read is not going to get curated. Just trying to help you.
Oh thank for the help, will do better later
