Weekend Long Run - 10km
dannewton just finished a 10.12km run, that lasted for 67 minutes.
This run helped dannewton burn 1112.0 calories.
Description from Strava: Well it's the weekend again! Time is flying past at the moment! And you know what that means? Time for the weekly 'long run'
Today's route is the same as last week, running down to Waddington, a quick loop around the village and then back again. This time however, I did a bigger loop around the village, and then I did a 2nd lap of it before heading home.
I checked the strata app just as I was nearing my doorstep and noticed the total distance was 9.7km. Even though I was tired at this point, I forced myself to run another 400 metres just so I could complete the full 10km haha!
it's a bit OCD I know, but 10.1km looks so much better than 9.7km!
It was warm out there, but at least by heading out before lunchtime I have avoided the hotter temperatures later on.

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)

10km is very respectable. It has been getting a bit warm out there. Need to run before it warms up. Have fun.
