The Last of Us parte 1 remastered toda una sorpresa iniciando 2025

Inicie junto a mi hijo este nuevo año 2025 jugando The Last of Us parte 1 remastered, algo que la verdad nunca pensé que haría, no soy fan de este tipo de juegos de zombies survivor, pero luego de ver la serie de television en HBO quedé encantado con la historia. Mi hijo fue el que me animó a que lo jugaramos, lo comenzamos la última semana de diciembre y lo finalizamos la segunda semana de enero.

The Last of Us Part 1 Remastered: A surprise to start 2025

I started this new year 2025 playing The Last of Us Part 1 Remastered with my son, something I honestly never thought I'd do. I'm not a fan of these zombie survivor games, but after watching the HBO TV series, I was captivated by the story. My son was the one who encouraged me to play it, we started it the last week of December and finished it the second week of January.

Aún nos quedaban 3 semanas de la suscripción de PlayStation Plus que le di como regalo a mi hijo en navidad, comenzamos a buscar que jugar y fue cuando dimos con este juego, la verdad no habían muchas opciones que nos llamarán la atención, ya pensábamos en no renovar la suscripción para el siguiente mes, pero decidimos darle una oportunidad a TLOU.

We still had 3 weeks left on the PlayStation Plus subscription that I gave my son as a Christmas gift. We started looking for something to play and that's when we came across this game. Honestly, there weren't many options that caught our attention, we were already thinking about not renewing the subscription for the following month, but we decided to give TLOU a chance.

Aunque ya sabía que cosas iban a pasar en cuanto a la historia, gracias a la serie, jugarlo es otra experiencia, además la remasterización queda muy buena, ya habíamos visto algunos videos hace años cuando el juego fue lanzado para PS4 y el cambio es bastante considerable, tanto para PC como para PS5.

Even though I already knew what was going to happen in terms of the story, thanks to the series, playing it is another experience. Plus, the remastering is really well done. We had seen some videos years ago when the game was released for PS4 and the change is quite considerable, both for PC and PS5.

La jugabilidad es bastante buena, el juego se esfuerza por que las acciones del personaje sean bastante realista. Las acciones de disparo son muy realistas, a medida que mejoras un arma te haces más preciso al disparar y controlar el retroceso. El crafteo es uno de los mejores que he visto hasta ahora, cuando haces modificaciones se nota el proceso con mucho realismo y el arma u objeto adquiere la apariencia exacta basado en el nuevo accesorio encontrado.

The gameplay is quite good, the game strives to make the character's actions very realistic. The shooting actions are very realistic, as you upgrade a weapon you become more accurate at shooting and controlling the recoil. The crafting is one of the best I've seen so far, when you make modifications you can see the process with a lot of realism and the weapon or object takes on the exact appearance based on the new accessory found.

La combinación de estilos de juego es también muy buena, elegir con libertad si quiere enfrentar los enemigos o pasarlos en sigilo es algo tuyo, el juego no te lo está recordando, debes estar muy atento a tu entorno y ver qué te ayuda a entablar un buen combate o pasar desapercibido, especialmente cuánto te enfrentas a otros humanos.

The combination of gameplay styles is also very good, freely choosing whether you want to face enemies or pass them in stealth is up to you, the game is not reminding you, you must be very attentive to your surroundings and see what helps you to engage in a good combat or go unnoticed, especially when you face other humans

Los humanos infectados no tienen nada que ver con los zombies, son rápidos y tienen aún fuerza suficiente para atacar. Cuando pierden la vista y se convierte en cliquers son muy peligrosos, el mínimo ruido los alerta y son bastantes difíciles de vencer, debido a la protección que el hongo coloca en su cabeza, hay que dispararles dos veces.

The infected humans have nothing to do with zombies, they are fast and still have enough strength to attack. When they lose their sight and become clickers they are very dangerous, the slightest noise alerts them and they are quite difficult to defeat, due to the protection that the fungus places on their head, you have to shoot them twice.

En general el juego nos gustó mucho, queremos jugar la segunda parte aunque ya sabemos de que va la historia. La parte 2 recibió varias críticas, no por su jugabilidad, fue por su historia y como se desarrolla, pero a pesar de eso creo que vale la pena jugarlo y probar las mejoras de combate que incluyeron en esta nueva entrega, que por cierto está por ser lanzada la versión remasterizada para PC en el mes de abril y de paso ya se viene la segunda te temporada de la serie en HBO.

In general, we really liked the game, we want to play the second part even though we already know what the story is about. Part 2 received several criticisms, not for its gameplay, but for its story and how it develops, but despite that I think it's worth playing and trying out the combat improvements they included in this new installment, which by the way is about to be released the remastered version for PC in April and by the way the second season of the series is coming on HBO
