Trying FIFA 22's Volta Football aka the new FIFA Street
⚽️
Gamers with some mileage on their engine surely remember EA Sports Big games such as SSX, Def Jam Vendetta, NBA Street, NFL Street, and FIFA Street. These were some of my favorite games from my childhood. It has been since 2012 since we last got a FIFA Street game, but finally, EA Sports has decided to give us at least a bit of something like that. Within FIFA 22 is a colorful mode called Volta Football. It is here that instead of playing 11v11 like in a typical soccer match, teams of 5 face off on a smaller pitch. Tricks and customization are the names of the game. My main question was, would this be as fun as I remember FIFA Street is back in the day?
Let's find out in today's video as I try Volta Football for the very first time.

Damn I gotta try this. Used to play tonnes of Fifa Street, this lacks the street syle I loved in the original but worth a look. Interested to see where the franchise will go after the name changes.
I got a little too hyped for the mode, I prefer regular matches still. Volta is still a decent alternative and pretty much the best option if you prefer the street style of soccer.
I think it is wild that FIFA themselves plans to continue making FIFA games, but EA Sports will now be making EA Sports FC soccer games each year.
I've been away from Fifa for a few games, not looked at PES either. Whether FIFA are able to churn out anything decent without EA is up in the air. Socialable Soccer looks cool

Well, I've tried the latest PES (which is now called eFootball and is free-to-play), but it really doesn't compare to FIFA. I enjoyed it for a bit, but after finally getting my hands on FIFA 22 there is no way I will ever play eFootball again.
That Sociable Soccer game looks pretty cool. I love this artwork I found on their website. I had not heart of that until you mentioned it.
:P finally! the beard power!
i like that 4 on 4 action.
Beard power and fancy footwork are surely entertaining things to watch.
