Damn! After a miraculous week of NBA free agency, it feels like we are finally getting some time on the bench to look at a transformed league that’s resulted from so many signings and trades. Still yet — my list feels like it’s arrived a bit impromptu with reports that OKC Thunder are running trade ideas with all-star Russell Westbrook, so I will keep that in mind with this power ranking of all 30 NBA teams as the offseason gradually closes. I doubt you will agree 100% with me, but I believe my visions. We will begin with the shittiest team in the league award :

I know I know, that's a major drop off from # 1 at the end of the season. However, do you really think the Raptors will still be top competitors next season? The league has shifted tremendously.

i mean. they could still do big things in the east. boston got better with kemba in my opinion. philly is the team to beat. the bucks are overrated. toronto should be top 3-4 in the conference when it’s all said and done. pascal needs to have a huge year and Kawhi-lite (O.G.) needs to step up.

winning it all again? nah. but i don’t think they have dropped off the map.

Yea I get what you're saying for sure, Raptors are near the top when it comes to the East. The West just has so many powerful teams. They very well could be a top seed in the playoffs, I still don't think it makes them a better squad than many of the Western teams. Philly for sure has a beast lineup, but I just can't put them above the Bucks due to the Greek Freak being an absolute monster on the court. Giannis is going to be even better next season.

Some Raptor players such as Pascal, Lowry, and Kawhi-lite as you call him (I like that) could really take it to the next level. I'm sure in their mind they believe they can win another championship. NOTHING is out of the picture, that is for sure.

Oh the west is going to be fantastic television next season...

I don't think either L.A. team wins though....Call me crazy but I think Denver, Utah, Houston and even Portland will battle it out.

The Clippers are one injury away for failing....Lakers have too much ego on that squad. I dunno....I hope Kawhi never gets back to the finals ever again LOL

But I'm bitter.

I could see there being so much commotion in the city of angels that the players become distracted. This could lead to the stacked # 1&2 teams failing to fulfill. I find that unlikely, but it’s deifntely possible. Plenty of other teams in the West that could be more consistent.

Yeah, that's the problem with two alpha dog teams in L.A. now...The drama is gonna be...Legendary LOL

Man, great article. It’s fun to look at the projected starters for each team. I agree it appears to be so much more wide open this season. I can def see the 2 LA teams matching up in the western conf finals. It could go either way with which team is the best Los Angeles team this upcoming season.

Thank you! These are just projections, but it’s still fun to take an educated guess.
Home court advantage for an entire semi-finals.. now that would be a heated playoff I’m sure of it.

No actual placings but would have
Washington higher
Toronto higher
Mavericks higher

Okc lower
Heat lower
Overall cant make my mind up at actual placing alot of change/injuries to take into consideration.

I have fond memories of my time in the USA watching basketball (and Football) games. The excitement and nearly every game was tight. Never got the expertise to write the sort of articles that you do but I certainly miss watching those games. Sadly, not very easy to watch here in the UK.

Thanks for the great article! Upvooooted!!

Basketball and Football are both rampant here in the USA. Both manage to stay competitive no matter how good some teams may seem.

Thanks for the compliment on my writing. I spent a lot of time on this one in particular. Was up until 4am working on it, and then back up @ 10am to finish it out. About 3.5 hours of writing, research, and designing went into this one.

Hey man. Loved your post and writing as well. Not into basketball at all, but that's why it is so good to have great freaking content about it. Got a question, as a great content creator in sports (and weedcash admittedly) would you mind giving some feedback on my latest post? It's about the soccer women world cup final, but hey, that's my niche in sports. If so, happy to drop you the link, if not, my upvote will stand!

Thanks! I understand, so many sports. Gotta choice your # 1. I wrote some articles about the World Cup too. I was stoned for every game I watched. I hope you were too.

Sure drop the link. I’d love to take a look.

Thank you! Yep, Cousins went to the Lakers. Westbrook was just traded for Chris Paul tonight. I had to rush and update this post while I was at work.

Stay tuned for my article on the Westbrook trade. It will be posted tomorrow sometime, I’ve gotta write it and design the thumbnail form it still.
