Sunday afternoon in the city
With a beer in the river
It was a bit cold and windy this Sunday morning and I spent the first half of the day at home.
In the afternoon we went to town and had icecream. I haven't been in town for a long time and I was a bit shocked how many retailers closed and how many shops are for rent. It's not only the small shops I'm aware of their struggling. Even some bigger stores were closed.
After the icecream was finished we bought us a beer and went to the river.
Du to the rain in the last days it had more water than I expected. We sat on a stone in the sun had our beer and enjoyed life and we're watching people.
The duck was swimming in front of us all the time and didn't seem afraid of us.
We spontaneously decided to go in a restaurant for dinner. I had some pasta and was a bit disappointed. They made it much better when we were there the last time. Anyway we had a nice Sunday afternoon and evening.
